Travellers of Mac'Greer 2 - The Journey
Levi, Goth and Aj flew over a moor. Aj was singing again. "We all live in a yellow submarine! Yellow submarine! Yellow submarine!" "What's a submarine?"Asked Levi. "It's like a boat, but it goes under the water, not on top." Said Aj. They flew over moors covered in heather, grass and sheep. "Ululululululululu! A castle!" Yelled Goth. He swerved to the right and crashed into Aj. Levi screeched. They both hit Levi, and landed in a flapping heap. "Ow." Said Levi. "Aek" Said Aj. "Hey!" Said Goth. "What's so hip about a castle?" Asked Levi. "I've never seen a castle. Not a real castle. I've seen Casaloma, but that's not really real." Said Goth. The castle was on the edge of a very tall, very steep cliff. "Can we go and see it, please?" Asked Goth. "Oh, all right." Said Levi. It took quite a bit of effort to get up there. When they did, Goth was quite disappointed. It was just a crumble of old walls, broken turrets and a grassy interior of a hollow stone frame. "Umm, it'

Dedicated to Levi Bell
"Weeeeeeeeee!" Yelled Levi as he flew through the air, soaring up, then spiraling downward to earth again. The sky was painted a soft marmalade colour dappled with pink clouds. "It's getting bright, dear. You should come in soon." Said his mother from his hollow. "Awww! But flying is so fun!" The young owl protested. "Yes. I remember when I first learned to fly." Said his Father. "Oh, you're no better then your Son." Said his Mother. Levi came swooping in. He dove talon first toward a thick branch, and latched onto it with a thump. He flapped his wings madly to prevent himself from falling forward. "You have to aim your talons in at the last second, not go diving in like an Osprey." Said his Father. The young owl ruffled his feathers, and reluctantly stepped into his hollow.
Levi was a British Barn Owl, who lived in a small village in Scotland called Inchture. He lived with his Mother, Semper, Father, Audax, and brother, Cormac in the Red Wood they called home.
An Owl TankaCreature of the night
Neither angel nor demon
With eyes dark as night itself
And thoughts uncertain
Swift as any wind
Mysterious like a ghost
Watching and stalking
Making every chance count
"Is all, chance or fate?"
Sensing in the air
The quiet one, embraces
Such brilliance here
Making one cry happily
To beauty and hope
A Little Owl's Story
A pair of Saw-Whet Owl's had three eggs. Two of them hatched when they were supposed to, however, the final one didn't hatch with them. Three weeks passed, and the egg finally hatched. He was small, and very week. His siblings were already almost ready to learn how to fly.
He looked up to his older siblings, but was jealous and envied the fact that they could fly. He started doubting himself, but his family tried to keep him positive. He tried the best he could, but even when the time came, his wings were too small and they would not lift him off the ground.
All the other animals in the forest laughed at him and said he wasn't an owl if he couldn't fly. They teased him day after day, but his family tried to defend him the best they could. Finally, the teasing got so bad, the little owl just couldn't take it anymore. He decided to leave the nest, just as his siblings had done many weeks before. His parents were against it, but he wanted to go somewhere that no one woul
Legacy of Ezio EpilogueAt last, Ezio could live his life in peace. He felt alive as he flew under the rain, something he enjoyed doing. He would lose himself in the rain, especially cold rain, which it was. Even more, he brought back the memories by flying with his cape, which was like a piece of him.
The forest in which he lived now, had recovered from a fire that spread along it. The rain really helped the process along. He lived in the area called Blythewold, which was a part of the kingdom Silverveil. It felt like the day before when he and his mate started living in a hollow of a nice fir tree.
Ezio lighted on a branch before leaping into the hollow. Upon seeing Ezio, the hatchling gave a start, but then was relieved, knowing that the owl with the one blind eye was the one raising her. Noticing the expression that quickly changed, Ezio hooted, “Sorry I keep startling you like that, Velia. I understand you have not adjusted to my disfiguration.”
“That was certainly a long trip, Ezio
Legacy of Ezio Chapter ThirteenThe two Eagle Owls made their way to the Island of Hoole, toward the Great Tree. Rest was needed more than ever now that dawn was approaching. In fact, Ezio himself realised how tired he was. His wings had grown weary, and the slit along his right wing started to cause pain to him. To his relief, the flight was no longer needed. Ezio almost fell down when landing inside the Great Tree.
Almost immediately, Ezio was greeted by cheers from all directions. He ignored the cheers as he spread his wings to lower his hood. He looked around using the one eye through which he could see. He searched around for Soren, hoping that he made it along with the living from the fighters that were called upon. He heard a familiar voice call, “Maestro!”
Instinctively looking back, he found the Lesser-Horned Owl approach him and nuzzle into him. She said through happy sobs, “I knew you would survive. You always do!” He was glad that she managed to do the same.
Ezio replied, “An
Legacy of Ezio Chapter TwelveFollowing one direction and fighting the frigid currents, Ezio realised where the enemy wanted to go, and among pirates it was neutral territory. Maybe Gotthilf or Magnus or their followers couldn’t touch him there, but Ezio could. In fact, he needed to break that rule. He knew nothing about the codes or guidelines of any clan of the Northern Kingdoms. Regardless, it was time he brought an end to this conflict. He flew over the Glaciers, searching for the Great-Horned Owls. It was to be no problem, as most owls’ feathers are shades of grey and brown. The cloaked owl searched all over the grounds of the Glaciers, before he decided to head up to the mountains. It was a large risk to take. The H’rathgar Mountains were shrouded in fog. He found a trench where the currents were in his favour. Then he started flapping his wings the way he always did. Though he flapped his wings slowly, he still felt a small boost with each thrust.
He could barely see in the fog that surroun
Legacy of Ezio Chapter ElevenAs if he had the energy of a well-rested owl, Ezio flew among the misty gusts surrounding the island, with Aura by his side. It was something he longed for. He knew almost instantly that the feeling of being in love, was something to keep him sane. He looked at Aura with a loving gaze, which was very distinctively different from his spine-chilling scowl. She looked back at him, feeling affectionate as well. She could feel his wing hold her as she slept. She knew what he wanted to do as soon as all would awake, and was willing to come along despite her fear of the criminals and her opposition to the very thought of violence.
The two Eagle Owls found trouble once they had exited the Ice Narrows, heading for the Everwinter Sea. Someone was waiting for him. Someone screeched, “Ezio’s here!” Owls of various colours, swooped down at Ezio and Aura. The caped owl screeched, “Aura, go! Get out of here!” He didn’t want her to get hurt. She understood, and made
